Does your dog like to eat ice cream just as much as you do? Well dogs enjoy it just as much as we humans.

But it’s not really a good idea. You may be tempted to give your doggie some of the ice cream you’re eating, but it’s probably not the best idea. Try to avoid it, it’s advised not to give your dog ice cream or any other type of dairy product. Some of the problems with a dog eating ice cream is the big one a condition known as lactose intolerance.

It’s a condition that makes it very hard to break down sugars in dairy products. And can result in various bad intestinal issues, such as flatulence or diarrhea.

Well many doggies are lactose intolerant, not all dogs may have this condition. These dogs body can produce the lactase that is needed to be able to enjoy ice cream.

If you really want to give your dog ice cream or any dairy products give it to them in very small amounts. If you have a dog that shows to be able to handle ice cream, well he is a lucky dog.

Just be sure not to give your doggie too much ice cream.But if your dog dosen’t responds well to eating ice cream don’t give any more.
